Jan 15, 2010 - In the Light of a Street Lamp

How many wonderful stories can be composed standing near a street lamp, gazing at the light in the middle of complete darkness! Sometimes, it seems that a different, independent from the outside life is there.
But what life can be there in winter? No moscites, no butterflies, no moths. But there may be snowflakes! I had a strong desire to shoot it today, though I had no camera then. But can a camera show that beauty? No, it only can give you a hint. You all should see it yourselves ;)

Jan 4, 2010 - Ice!

As I decided to contact as less people as possible this vacation, I started figuring out what could I do today, so, it would be happy. I suddenly I realized that I haven’t yet got a walk across the lake this winter. I took Bonya with me, and hurried to correct the mistake. Having almost reached one of the islands I understood that Bonya is cold, and can’t go further anymore. Unfortunately, I had to turn back. But it doesn’t mean that I won’t cross the Sapsho this year. I planned to photograph all the islands. They are very beautiful in winter. And today, I’ve got some other photos which I post here:

Dec 27, 2009 - Walking

Sure, walking can change the world. They say, centuries ago the world was better... I think, it was that because people walked much more then.
Walking is one of the best ways to overcome bad mood. But my advise is to return after walk to a different place. I mean, not there where the source of your bad mood is or even was, but to somewhere else.

It's great if there's a place where you can always stay for a night (alone or with someone). The worst thing here is if the sourse is at your own home, and you don't have such a place or you've gotta return home because of some other reason.

So, the moral of this is that you have to take care of such kind of place, where you could always stay alone after any conflict, and that you should always try to walk when you've got low spirits.

P.S. The photo evokes the feeling of changing the life to the better as you walk from turn to turn.
